The explanation was: there was some sort of glitches to the forum.
And today, when I log in, I can see that I was not the only one who got banned.
Heck! Some of the Moderators were also banned

Well, this is something to laugh about.
But as one fellow forumer points out — “a highly recognized forum like this should have a dedicated technician who look after it 24/7″

I can’t agree more.

And this means I’m not going in as someone new (sigh! I was looking forward to that

I’ve sent an e-mail to the webmaster or administrator and I’m waiting for their reply.
This is not the first time I got banned but it’s my first time being banned from a forum.
My favorite one too

I didn’t recall any of the fellow forumer who share their experience being banned.
Maybe they decided to keep mum. I don’t know.
But here’s my plan: If they did or did not reply, I’m going to re-join the forum under different name.
And I’m going to share my experience.

I can feel the FUN already doing just that

One can have the most fantastic product in the whole world but if they market it to the wrong crowd, the result I believe is next to none!
Success in marketing and advertising requires focus, and joining the right forum means focus.
The profit that you make from there on is just a way of keeping score.

In a forum, what’s the most important step you MUST take?

Include your Signature or ‘Siggy’.
I ‘worded’ my signature to represent my brand and my main biz.
I kept the link to one website, two at most, with a combination of my index page and a blog.
I’m now testing the effectiveness of ‘Splash page’ and ‘Squeeze page’ linked from a Sig file.
This also implies that having your own website IS important.

What else did I do?

I introduce myself in the appropriate section.
I respond to fellow forumers posts.
I post useful content and info, and get their respond.
I use the forum Ad Board and pitch my offer.
And I make a post in Blatant Ads section - but not too often

What I didn’t do?

I didn’t post my ads right after I sign-up for a furum.
Not even on a free Ads forum…

1. Forum marketing - If you frequently use forum to advertise also, you already know that just by registering on a forum and start posting your ads is of a little or no help. A forum is a ‘community’ so treat it like one, not a wall where you display your ‘graffiti’.
   You can ‘advertise’ in sig file (siggy), your forum article, forum ad board and the blatant ad section. Well, at least the forum I joined allows these…
2. Article submission - There are free and paid submission.
   I’m talking about the free one, and to reap the most benefits from this, you better hope you get a high download or distribution from e-zine, blog and other site.
   Another thing I inclined to do is to submit as much articles as I can.
3. Traffic Exchange - I used more than ONE exchanges. I benefit the most after I stick to a schedule and understand more about credits, surfing and referrals.

What’s your MOST frequently used free advertising method?

• Will using ‘free advertising’ methods produce more result versus the ‘paid’ method?
• Which converts better - Splash Page or Squeeze Page?

I’m finding the answer(s) to both questions.
I’m testing all possible angles.
But in case you already have the answer, care to share?

I do realize that results of both could be conditional. No results are absolute.

Let’s start with what I DON’T like about YSEM:

• When it comes to PPC (pay per click), I started with Google Adwords. And starting with Google Adwords makes using YSEM too complicated
  Seriously. The MENU tab and navigation in Adwords are far, far easier.
• I still can’t figure out how to set my Ads to appear locally i.e. in Local Search/region

• Just that I guess
